Thanks! I can't say for sure it is the hardest because I haven't taken any other obviously... but statistics show that it is the exam that is the most strict in its grading. It is also said that if you can pass the CA bar, you can pass any other bar. It is not a competancy test, rather a test that is given so that there aren't too many lawyers in CA like there used to be. So... you be the judge.
